Archaeological collection includes the objects from the prehistoric times to the new age.
Among the particularities that can be found in the Museum, we are putting an emphasis on the finds from the Bronze Age of the Cetina culture and from the Iron Age Illyrian Delmats, the finds from the medieval forts as well as the contemporary finds from the Fortress of Sinj, Grad.

The ethnographic collection is rich in the traditional textile material, parts of the male and female folk costumes, which mostly date from the late 19th and early 20th century. Textile items made of wool and linen, with their production technique and decorative motifs, showcase the wealth of the traditional heritage in the Cetinska Krajina region.
The valuable part of the collection consists of jewellery, everyday items from the household inventory such as distaffs, wooden tools and tools used in agriculture, wooden chests, weaving looms, pottery products and other.

Cultural and historical collection consists of artefacts of various purposes, among which a collection of ceramic pipes and iron horseshoes stand out in their numerousness and completeness. Clay smoking pipes are found in the archaeological research on the fortress Grad in Sinj, mainly the pipes of the Austro-Hungarian, Ottoman, English and Zelovo provenance. All specimens belong to the period from the mid-17th to the late 19th century. A valuable part of the collection consists of items from the World War II (utensils, medical instruments, typewriter, wristwatch), tricycle from the second part of the 19th century, flags and other various items.

Numismatic collection includes Greek, Celtic, Roman Republican, Roman Imperial and Byzantine coins of the Middle and Early Middle Ages as well as the series of golden and silver coins.

The Natural History Collection consists of objects that come from various localities in the Cetinska Krajina region. There are 149 fossil specimens stored in the Natural History Collection, out of which the most specimens date to the mid-Triassic period (Anisic stage) and are 230 million years old. The collection contains 151 specimen of the most frequent minerals and rocks found in the Cetinska Krajina region. It is important to mention the fossil remains of a mastodon (mastodon teeth) that were found in the Ruduša area in Sinj.

A large part of the collection consists of oil paintings, watercolours, graphics and sculptures of various artists among which we emphasize Stjepan Banović, Frane Šimunović, Pavao Perić, Stipe Sikirica, Anton Vrlić, Ivo Filipović Grčić and Vladimir Vrljić Ankin.

The document collection consists of 1510 items. The content of the collection covers various documentary materials from the 19th century onwards. The backbone of the collection is the World War II material, and the valuable part of the collection consists of printed and documentary materials that attests to different events in regards to political institutions, socio-humanitarian, cultural and trade organizations from the first half of the 20th century (interwar period) and from the World War II period.

The Homeland War collection was created in 2018 and consists of artefacts that testify to war events in the Cetinska Krajina region and in the whole Croatia. The collection consists of various documents (reports from the Republic of Serbian Krajina, war diaries and 126th Brigade reconnaissance reports), homemade weapons, military insignia, military equipment, explosives. A valuable part of the collection consists of personal items of a Croatian Homeland War volunteer.

The collection stores the photographs of various visual content featuring public events from political, economic and cultural life of Sinj and surrounding places of the Cetinska Krajina region. The oldest photographs in the collection are the portraits of the Grabovac family from Sinj dating back to 1879. Within the collection, a special part is dedicated to photographs from the World War II.

Orders, medals and plaques collection consists of 100 units of digital record. The collection contains medals from the World War I and World War II and medals from the Independent State of Croatia as well as from the Socialist Yugoslavia period (Order of Labour, Order of Merits for the People, the Commemorative Medal of the Partisans of 1941), medals, plaques, awards, stamps and religious medallions. Mostly, the items date from the 19th and 20th century.

The arms collection contains cold weapons (yatagans, swords, sabres, daggers, knives, bayonets), firearms (pistols, First and Second World War rifles, machineguns, hand grenades, bullet frames) and parts of military equipment. The collection features German helmets and one Italian helmet as well as a paratrooper helmet from the World War II. It is also important to mention rifles of various types, from hunting rifles and Italian service riffles to automatic rifles, such as German light machinegun and Italian machinegun from the first half of the 20th century.

The poster collection consists of 106 units of digital records and includes different posters, from museum, gallery and sport posters to original postcard flyer templates. The collection includes posters from Croatian authors and groups such as Boris Ljubičić, Stipe Sikirica, Anton Vrlić, Bruketa-Žinić OM, Barchrach-Krištofić, Bopfrk, Nikola Križanac, Profesionalci + and others.

Postcards testify expressively and directly to the particular segments of life. Through them we can follow the urban development; they are an invaluable material for cultural heritage and for the depiction of the history of Sinj and the Cetinska Krajina region.
